How do I find out who my Local Councillor / Member of Parliament / Member of the European Parliament is?

If you enter your post code into the www.writetothem.com website, it will display the names of your elected representatives. You can send them a message directly from this website.


Who do I report damage to a road, pavement, streetlight or road sign to?

Staffordshire County Council are responsible for Highways – this includes:

  • Street Lights and Signs;
  • Roads and Pavements;
  • Taffic Lights and Pedestrian Crossings; and
  • Blocked Drains on Roads

Please report Highway faults to The Highways Hotline – between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday on 0300 111 8000 or emailing highways@staffordshire.gov.uk.
You can also use the County Council's online fault reporting system, if you prefer.
BSARA recommends FixMyStreet.com which will automatically forward faults to the appropriate local authority and which allows the community to track progress.


How to I report an incident to the local Police?

You should contact the North Lichfield Neighbourhood Police Team

Who manages Beacon Park and how do I contact them?

Beacon Park is owned and managed by Lichfield District Council while Minster Pool & Walk, and the Garden of Remembrance are the property of Lichfield City Council.

My rubbish bin has not been emptied, who do I report this to?

You can check on the District Council's web page regarding bins not being emptied. This web page will also allow you to check when your bin is due to be emptied.
